Our Story (Full version)

At the heart of The Green Kitchen is Patricia; mother of two with a lifelong passion for food as an universal expression of love and culture . - An entrepreneur and a cook, on a mission to make delicious Vegan food easy and affordable to all.

She has worked in hospitality for a good half of her life; and after taking her degree course in Hospitality Management, she felt it was the right time to step up to the challenge. So she planned – A place where all is made from plants, where food is nourishing, delicious and kind to body and soul; while giving the owed respect to Mother Nature in her immense importance to us and the to next generations.

“We are what we eat! Let’s eat the good stuff” has been Patricia’s motto since the beginning. She understands the struggles of transitioning on to a plant-based diet; as she went through the process herself, going against her family's wishes, and the strong meat and dairy culture she grew up with.

She started by sharing recipes online, hoping to inspire the followers, family, and friends into changing their diets. Now the opportunity to share her food with everyone has presented itself with the TGK Bakery & Takeaway. This is the beginning of a much bigger project, where TGK's foods will be accessible to many more. Other food outlets will soon be able to offer TGK’s food locally,  and hopefully one day nationwide.

For Patricia, It all started with the desire to nurture people through good food - Now a reality, result of a journey of love for people and food, plenty of hard work, and resilience.
