Mighty Burger Lentils Protein - Super Meaty

200g yellow split dry lentils

3 medium potatoes

1 large onion

1 bunch coriander (chopped)

6 cloves of garlic

1 packed of sage & onion stuffing

1 tsp. of salt (or to taste) and another 2 of pepper

2 tbsp. mild curry powder and 1 of ground cumin


Soak the lentils overnight. Then, drain them and add all the fresh ingredients (grated) and mix them well. Lastly, add the seasonings, then, the sage & onion stuffing. Mix well and leave it to rest for one hour. Shape it into burgers in sausages, or falafels shapes. Grill them, deep or shallow fry them in medium heat (so it cooks all the way through). Remove them from the heat when they are golden brown.


Grill them until you get the colour shown on the photo, let them cool, then, store them in the freezer. To cook them, defrost and microwave them 2 mins per burger, max heat. Also, add different sauces, sides and accompaniments - it tastes like a different recipe every time!
