Ingredients:
200g yellow split dry lentils
3 medium potatoes
1 large onion
1 bunch coriander (chopped)
6 cloves of garlic
1 packed of sage & onion stuffing
1 tsp. of salt (or to taste) and another 2 of pepper
2 tbsp. mild curry powder and 1 of ground cumin
Process:
Begin by soaking the lentils overnight. Afterward, drain and combine them with the freshly grated ingredients, ensuring they are mixed thoroughly. Next, incorporate the seasonings and the sage & onion stuffing. Mix well and allow the mixture to rest for an hour. Shape it into burgers, sausages, or falafels, then grill or fry them in medium heat until cooked through. Remove from heat once they turn golden brown.
Tips:
Grill the burgers until they achieve the color depicted in the photo, allow them to cool, and then place them in the freezer for storage. When ready to cook, thaw the burgers and microwave each one for 2 minutes on high heat. Additionally, experiment with various sauces, side dishes, and accompaniments to create a unique flavor profile every time!
