🤤 Never goes out of fashion.
Ingredients:
2 heads of broccoli
1 boiled cauliflower head
1 litre of unsweetened soy milk
2 tbsp margarine
1 tsp English mustard
1 tbsp salt
1 lemon
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp turmeric
6 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp dried chives
1 tsp garlic powder
Process: Cook the florets of 2 heads of broccoli and a cauliflower in boiling water. Next, drain the water, transfer them to an oven tray, and season with salt and pepper. To prepare the sauce, bring a liter of soy milk to a boil. Once boiling, stir in margarine, mustard, salt, a pinch of turmeric for color, lemon juice, sugar, and finally, corn starch (ensure you dissolve the corn starch in half a cup of water before adding it to the sauce). Cook and stir until the mixture thickens to a custard-like consistency. Then, add dried chives, garlic powder, and mix thoroughly. Pour the sauce over the vegetables, sprinkle with additional chives and garlic powder, and finish with a drizzle of olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C for 20 minutes, then grill until golden brown on top.
